Alchemy Tips: Taurus New Moon Wishes

The New Moon starts Friday, May 6th! What a fantastic opportunity to plant our own ‘new beginnings’ for the next month or for the rest of the year. Set up powerful new wishes and affirmations to give yourself the extra ‘boost’ that Astronomy & Astrology line up for us!

My favorite source for New Moon wishes is the book, “New Moon Astrology; The Secret of Astronomical Timing to Make All Your Dreams Come True,” by Jan Spiller.

New Moon Power

Jan Spiller helps us to understand the significance of the New Moon ‘wishing power’ and reminds us that this phase of the moon is the ‘Maiden Goddess,’ for new beginnings and fresh starts.

In my previous blog, Alchemy Tips: New Moon Wishes, we reviewed the quality essences of the ARIES New Moon. For this month, we will look at the quality essences of TAURUS, as our New Moon sits in the ‘bull’ energy. Taurus qualities will be enhanced during this time, so we can direct our New Moon Intentions to take advantage of this help.

Reminder: Spiller suggests that we make our wishes within 48 hours of the New Moon, for full strength potency. See 2016 New Moon schedule here

How to Set Your Wish Intentions

As we excitedly set up our wishes for this New Moon cycle, Spiller has some suggestions for us.

  • Know that your wishes can be for any length of time; one month, 6 months, 1 year
  • Make your wishes within 48 hours of the activation of the New Moon energy
  • Try to keep your list of wishes under ten individual wish statements
  • If you focus a couple of your wishes in one area, you increase the power of that wish intention
  • Do not combine more than one focus in a single wish statement (quit fatty foods and start exercising – not recommended to have two focuses in one wish)
  • WRITE them down and keep them in your New Moon Journal
  • You can use condition words like “easily,” “gracefully,” “quickly,” etc. in your descriptions of wish intents
  • Her favorite sentences begin with, “I want to easily find myself…” finish with desired situation (enjoying exercise daily; embracing a next, better job)
  • To take negative traits OUT, Spiller suggests using words like, “I want all inner resistance to ____ totally lifted from me,” or “I want all impatience totally lifted from me,” for example.
  • Use what you know are the qualities of the Astrological sign the New Moon is in at the time to enhance or release those qualities in your life

TAURUS New Moon

With a Taurus New Moon, let’s look at what types of qualities we could enhance:

Taurus (the Bull) are known for (positive qualities):

  • Nature Lover
  • Material Success
  • Gratitude
  • Sensuality
  • Trustworthiness
  • Determination
  • Strong Values
  • Patience

You could choose to focus on enhancing and attracting more of these positive qualities into your life experience.

Taurus (the Bull) are known for (negative qualities):

  • Inflexibility
  • Stagnation
  • Dogmatism
  • Argumentative
  • Possessiveness
  • Over-expectations

You could choose to eliminate these negative qualities by statements that release and lift these qualities from your inner being.

Explore and be honest with yourself, and I am confident you will discover powerful New Moon wish intentions that, once planted in your subconscious/conscious minds and with Cosmic Universe assistance enlisted – will lead you to graceful and dynamic changes over the next few months and years.

Alchemy Tips: Mercury Retrograde hits again!

“Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact.

Everything we see is perspective, not the truth.”

—Marcus Aurelis

Mercury Retrograde took hold of us again today, April 28th, and keeps its tight teeth around us until May 22nd. Oh joy.

I prepared myself for computer glitches to begin today, for my cell phone to get sketchy and even the possibility that my car would hiccup here and there…but I seemed to forget all about ‘personal communications.’

In our close relationships, we assume that we know what the other person is thinking, but in actuality, we are complex and ingenious beings that can hide our feelings, even from ourselves. Until a Mercury Retrograde, that is!

Misunderstandings; google images
Misunderstandings; google images

Here is what I have been reminded about today from Source in my own communication debacle: a person’s truth is really only their own – it can never be someone else’s truth.

We live collectively, but we experience life separately.

As humans, we can create goals together, projects, companies, families, homes and so much more. But it is important to remember that each of us sees a slightly different shade of the blue sky, and while it can bring us together for a common good, it can also keep us divergent from one another.

Our biggest challenge is to be able to ‘hear’ from someone what their truth (perspective) is all about. Just hear it. We are not responsible to do anything with that information at that moment, or maybe never. But if someone wants to be blunt and somewhat in-your-face about something personal (thank you again, Mercury Retrograde), maybe it is time to just listen.

My goal for the next 24 days of this potential communication minefield is to be mindful that when I hear someone’s ‘truth’ – it is perfectly fine to allow it and not try to align them with my ‘truth.’

“Today I am thankful for all the support in my life, for Divine Blessings, for the capacity to be honest and compassionate, and for all the million-gazillion ways that my partner is different from me.”

Rock on, Mercury Retrograde, rock on!

Soul Journey: Higher Consciousness Living Shifts

Affirmations are offered by Energy & Intuitive Healers as a path to success, deeper love, more joy – essentially a Higher Consciousness Living plane of existence. If this is such a powerful tool, why is it that so many people find it fails them?

From a Spiritual Alchemist perspective, I have experienced what I term “the Higher Consciousness Living” shift by the combination of both Science & the Sacred – a blend that elevates our consciousness, health and peace over a lifetime of our Soul Journey.

Luminous Consciousness Robin MorlockWe live in (basically) 4 planes of energy – Physical, Mental, Emotional and Spiritual. When we feel discomfort in one or more of the planes, we seek to make a change. That is our internal innate GPS – a guidance system that moves us always in a path of growth and expansion.

As many of us have learned, contraction or static living can hurt – literally. You feel like you expanded inside a box and the walls of the box are pressing in – you cannot breathe. When this happens, we are motivated to make a change, but many times we are trapped by the mental sphere. We imagine that we can ‘think’ our way out of the box.

4 Planes come together to effect the desired Quantum Shift

Affirmations are formed by our mental mind and this is a form of a cognitive behavior technique. We are changing our belief system by repetition of something we greatly desire that is different from our current experience.

To truly affect a change, what we are actually asking for (consciously or subconsciously) is an elevation of our conscious living state.

We want a quiet mind, free from worries.

We desire to be in loving relationships where people value one another.

We dream of a body that has energy and less pain or discomfort.

We crave an intimate conversation with Source and our inner Intuitive Self.

We need attention to all 4 planes, as they weave together and produce the noticeable and quantifiable difference that we seek. This is why so many people struggle when working with affirmations. They are pushing the mental plane to accomplish a herculean task; quantum life shift!

4 Ways to weave your Quantum Shift into Place!

Physical – This has to do with habits of living. You may be experiencing difficulty with your diet, your sleep patterns, exercise regime and pain management. Take the baby steps to institute the new habits, and be gentle in this process. Gentle means easing into the new habit with doable steps.

Mental – Here is where the affirmations and intention statements come into play. Write affirmations that are general enough to allow Source to ‘surprise’ you with wondrous new changes! Don’t limit yourself with too much specific language in your Affirmation. “Everyday I am loved by supportive friends.”

Emotional – Heartfelt Prayer and Appreciation thoughts will open and expand this plane. Many of us experience a ‘closed heart’ due to emotional pains taken on in relationships and life situations. Allow more grace to flow in!

Spiritual – Energy healings (like Reiki) will assist the body in pain relief, but are mostly geared to ‘filling up’ your spiritual fuel tank, bringing in peace and inspiration. Spiritual Initiations are necessary and come most powerfully through working with an authentic Healer, although these can also be prayed for in the quiet of your home. Initiations gradually seep into the cellular tissue, and the LIGHT re-patterns our DNA. Initiations also work like a large shiny net that pulls out karmic and emotional stings that you are ready to let go of – that you cannot hold onto in a next level consciousness shift.

Dimensions Robin Morlock

Higher Consciousness Living Shift

These 4 plane changes come about from a natural diamond (4 step) process. In order to move to the next level of Higher Consciousness, we must be willing to put attention in all 4 areas.

4 Planes to Higher Consciousness ©Robin Morlock
4 Planes to Higher Consciousness ©Robin Morlock

The Cycle

As shown in the diamond-process, when we gain this next level quantum shift into a Higher Consciousness Living state, we are blessed with vitality, creativity, inspiration, peace of mind, joy of being in the moment, and fulfillment in our growing closeness with Source.

One day we realize that the shift is REAL. We are no longer triggered by a long-time painful issue, and we find beauty-of-spirit and smiles in those around us. This is not nirvana, but a deepening of our inner Light that desires authentic and fulfilling experiences with others and our planet.

It is so subtle at times that we realize it with a small ‘ahhh…’

Once we recognize that a new layer has been revealed on our path, it is great to note this in a journal. I promise, it can be so subtle that you may not even ‘see’ it at first. Affirm it to yourself when you do have your ‘Ah-ha’ moment. Your appreciation will deepen the experience.

How long will this last? Every one’s Soul Journey is individual, so this magical combination is different for each of us. But as we continue to shine, and share our LIGHT with others, we will naturally reach a point of needing to stretch again. This is when you will feel some discomfort – the pushing at the walls of the box again.

Gift of YOU Robin Morlock

Your Gift to Others

As you reach your next level of Higher Consciousness Living, your aura will announce this to everyone else! You walk into a room and suddenly there are three people around you, wondering what you have been up to. They see/sense your LIGHT has grown.

Just BEING allows others who are in discomfort to gain assistance – their aura will pick up from your aura necessary ‘information.’ Energetically, we can assist others in igniting what they intuitively know to seek – and it is the first REAL step.

I look forward to hearing about your shifts and changes!

Many blessings, Robin

Alchemy Tips: Basalt Energetic Grounding

Natural stones have amazing healing qualities, such as the descriptions from the fantastic resource on stone energetic qualities, “Love is in the Earth,” by Melody. In my shaman jewelry making, I have found her book to be invaluable in assisting in the combinations of energies and intentions of our Mother Earth geology ‘friends.’

Many stones and crystals also assist in ‘grounding’ our human physical energy and spirit. Energetic grounding is an ancient holistic concept of bringing your spiritual self (energy self) back into your physical body and tapping deep down into Gaia’s center for additional LIGHT strength.

There are many books on the subject of grounding. Two of my favorites: “Gemstones for Foot Grounding,” by Starr Fuentes, and the Pleiadian method through Amorah Quan Yin’s book, “The Pleiadian Workbook: Awakening Your Divine Ka.”

BASALT ELEMENT

Basalt is an excellent stone for assistance in grounding our energies. While the physical stone of Basalt is always great to use, there is a powerful energetic use of Basalt that is described in this article. First, let’s review the benefits of being grounded!

BENEFITS OF GROUNDING

Here are just a few of the dynamic benefits of being energetically grounded:

  • Being truly ‘present’ to the moment; to your 3D reality (escapism, fantasy daydreaming, and denial are results of not being grounded)
  • Feeling an inner strength for all circumstances; emotional peace
  • A sense of solidness; one cannot be knocked over like a big balloon clown in the wind; like a solid core of LIGHT running down the spine
  • Calm observance of people and situations around you, allowing for conscious decision making (not impulsive, emotional reactions)
  • Ability to stay focused and moving toward your stated intentions
  • Recognition of inner emotional blockages through deeper awareness of self
  • Greater overall enjoyment of each precious moment on this planet
  • Ability to be ‘present’ again after a traumatic crisis

BASALT ENERGETIC GROUNDING TECHNIQUE

This powerful and effective grounding technique is provided through a channeled session in which Master Djwhal Khul, Ascended Master in the Higher Realms, provided this information. I have used this technique on myself and with my clients. It is strong, immediate and lasting.

The words of Master Djwhal Khul:

Basalt will ground nervous energies. Placed along the spine or laying down on large stones on one’s back is best.

Next best choice is holding the stones in the hands. The person will feel calmer – more able to see the whole situation and make appropriate decisions. Basalt is good for curing/stopping indecisiveness.

Basalt is an actual energy that can be energetically channeled down the spine of a person to assist with grounding – achieving calm, solid decisiveness.

Practitioner should hold hands out on either side of the head (oneself or another person) – 8″ away from the body. Hands with palms facing the ears, fingers closed. Practitioner should envision and draw in/call on Basalt energy in a grey-blue color into the top of the head and see it go down the spine. Practitioner’s hands stay in place on either side of the head, unless otherwise intuitively guided to change position.

This is like a “Column of Basalt.” This will immediately ground the person. It will pull their spirit back into their body.

ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS

In practicing this technique, I have discovered that after about three practice sessions, this energy will be so anchored in the practitioner’s energy field that when it is called upon, it is there immediately. Barely getting my hands in place, I have felt the result on myself or with my client. Calm is instantly restored as well as a feeling of inner strength.

This is an wonderful and quick technique to teach to children. Start with the actual basalt rock in their hands so they can connect with the quality of the stone first. Showing a child the path to quick self-grounding is an emotional life raft for them.

Two Important Reasons

  • A person’s ability to respond in a balanced and conscious way in the world depends on their level of grounded-ness.
  • A person’s ability to ignite the healing process inside the body also depends on being fully present and grounded.

I hope this grounding technique is of great assistance to you in your quest to be ‘fully present Now,’ as well as adding a tool to your healing kit for your clients, family and friends.

I’d love to hear from you if you try this and I am happy to answer any questions on the process!

Blessings, Robin

Alchemy Tips: New Moon Wishes

Many people focus on the full moon and all the strange or wonderful changes we see and feel at that time. The full moon is the ‘Mother Goddess’ of the moon phases, which means that it is the full fruition point; the time when changes you have put into place are blossoming and giving fruit.

The New Moon is spectacularly overlooked and yet, it is the most powerful time for planting your new wishes and confirming affirmations. A wonderful book on this subject is “New Moon Astrology; The Secret of Astronomical Timing to Make All Your Dreams Come True,” by Jan Spiller.

New Moon Power

Jan Spiller helps us to understand the significance of the New Moon ‘wishing power’ and reminds us that this phase of the moon is the ‘Maiden Goddess,’ for new beginnings and fresh starts.

Today, April 7th, is the New Moon, and Spiller suggests that we make our wishes within 48 hours of the New Moon, for full strength potency. Astrologically, the New Moon is in Aries, and that astrology sign’s qualities are enhanced during this time.

How to Set Your Wish Intentions

Soul Journey: Find Your Own Intuitive Path

One of my favorite activities is to look up ancient Alchemist recipes! I read the half-scientific and half-convoluted directions that were put down in earnest scientific and mystical exploration, and I wonder…how could they be so inexact in measurements? Cryptic symbols slipped in with notations giving exact measurements, and then the vague instructions of ‘heat between 250ºC and 350ºC’ for the completion of the formula.

What? How many times must I experiment with the heat element in order to find the right complement of elements? Is this any better than a witch’s brew of ‘a pinch of this’ and ‘a dash of that,’ but ‘only when the moon is three days into waning, and three dogs barked at midnight…’?

Of course, this is funny to us now, but to an ancient Alchemist there was an exact method that had to be followed and that would end in proper results. Half a dash the wrong way and you have ruined your formula magic.

But the ancient Alchemists had another secret – the subjective measurements were on purpose! This protected their special elixir because it required their own intuitive understanding of the recipe and elements in order to help it blossom in the bottle.

Exact Instructions in Spiritual Practices

How many of us have tried to apply this follow-the-instructions road with our Spiritual Journey? And sadder yet, how many of us have given up or have felt continually disconnected from Source because the ‘recipe’ did not seem to work for us?

It Happened to Me, too

When I began a serious study of spiritual topics, alternative healing modalities and deep inner core Soul work, I read at a voracious pace every book I could find on certain subjects in the spiritual and metaphysical field.

Meditation, for example, was an area that I really wanted to excel in – because I was impatient and terrible at quieting my mind. Like many others before me, I listened to recordings or followed exact instructions on how to get down to this inner, calm state of ‘no mind.’

The result? I fidgeted. I sat so long my bones ached. And, sometimes, I achieved a state of true peace for a few minutes. I felt like a failure and I stopped trying for quite some time.

Meanwhile, I was training in Reiki (hands-on healing) alternative healing method. This was a modality that I loved because of the grace and ease of it, and my dedication lead to Mastery training. Eventually I decided to move forward with teaching and initiations for others in order to spread this amazing healing method.

Discovering My Own Secret Recipe!

What I discovered while practicing Reiki healing: My mind got super quiet while facilitating a Reiki healing session for a client. So quiet, in fact, that my intuitive mind was able to connect more freely with Spirit Guides and Angels, and I was ‘moved’ all around the client’s body into healing positions that were slightly out of the norm for a traditional Reiki session. All of this co-creative union with Source worked for the client, bringing in deep shifts and pain relief. It worked for me because I got myself ‘out of the way’ of the healing process and achieved a deep inner peace that grew and grew over the years.

Your Own Intuitive Path

As you persevere forward on your own mystical inner path to reveal your true LIGHT and learn more about your soul purpose and life path choices, notice if you are trying to follow someone else’s exact instructions!

Gaining ‘guidelines’ from amazing teachers, instructors and gurus is necessary – each of us needs to look for guidance from the one ahead of us on the road, but our uniqueness prevents us from following instructions to the letter.

We simply must find our insights and co-creative union with Source with our own recipes!

Add in your ‘pinch of this’ and ‘dash of that’ in a creative and flexible manner that truly resonates for you. On my website and in my teachings, I provide instructions here and there on ways to ground, to do energy cord cutting, and more – but I fully expect my students and clients to find their own intuitive path within these guidelines.

“I accept within myself that my path, my progress, and my timing are my own, and it is perfect.”

Stop trying to follow exact recipes for your life that belong to someone else. Let your creative intuition take over!

Here are steps that might help when you are frustrated with a process and trying to find your own intuitive path:

  • STOP – relax and take some deep breaths
  • Open to your creative side – “I am an amazing, creative, and generous being, and I am greatly loved.”
  • Ask yourself, “In looking at this process that I am trying to follow, what works for me? What does not?”
  • Ask yourself, “How can I deepen and expand into what works for me?”
  • Review: “What new insights have I discovered about myself and MY LIGHT?”
  • Check in: “Is there a way being revealed (yet) on how I can share this with others?”

Take note for yourself and deepen into what is actually working for you so new discoveries will come your way – and REPEAT.

That would be my recipe, if you want to try it!

Blessings, Robin

Shaman or Professor – What type of Teacher are You?

As holistic healers and teachers, we have all spent time learning at the feet of our gurus – those Master Teachers who have walked the life path and generously provided their wisdom words for our betterment.

Like me, you may have had some teachers that you resonated with immensely, and then others where it seemed to fall flat. But once we discover our passion – the subject we love, learn and desire to teach – we might think back on past teachers and wonder, “How can I truly reach my students with LIGHT and insights for quantum change?”

Teaching from your Soul Center

An amazing life-path astrologer, Brook Jasmyn, explained the transforming time for Planet Earth that we are all experiencing now. In great service, as Healers & Teachers, we chose THIS TIME to reincarnate and assist humanity in higher consciousness growth.

In light of that, we would be ushering in a different type of teaching than what has been anchored here for the last 2,000 years; bringing the Shaman to take the place of the Professor.

Piscean Age transits to Aquarian Age

Humanity is leaving the Piscean Age and transitioning into the Aquarian Age. This brings in a different type of teacher. Let’s explore what the ‘Ages’ mean:

Zodiac Horoscope Signs, zodiachoroscopesigns.com
Zodiac Signs, zodiachoroscopesigns.com

According to astrology wisdom dating back to Hipparchus in 127 BC, the planet transitions backwards through the astrological signs (based on the vernal equinox transits) every 2,160 years. This means that the planet and humanity experience the qualities of that astrological sign for that period. If each sign is experienced, we have a full transition on the planet of about 25,920 years.

NOTE: this corresponds to the Mayan long count calendar transition where they calculated the end of a cycle of the Earth’s precession (wobble on its axis) – at 26,000 years. This was confirmed through the Milankovitch Theory in the 1920’s.

Many astrologers shorten this period to a straight 2,000 years, for ease in counting, and explain that we are in ‘cross-over’ of both signs at the front and back of each transition. So, for ease in counting, it is said that from approximately 1 AD to the year 2000, we were in the PISCEAN Age. Now, from the year 2,000 to the year 4,000, we will be in the AQUARIAN Age. Each age carries a ‘thought consciousness’ related to that astrological sign that pervades humanity’s growth and actions.

Becoming an Aquarian Teacher

Helping Hands; image from Bing.com
Helping Hands; image from Bing.com

Let’s review a chart that shows us the differences between a Piscean Teacher (our rigid Professor) and an Aquarian Teacher (our soul-centered Shaman):

How the Teacher relates to the Student

PISCEAN TEACHER                                                AQUARIAN TEACHER

Maintain the Status Quo Change the Status Quo
Ultimate Authority in the Universe  Does not want to be Authority Figure
Teacher believes once they have done it one time, they have mastered it, and then they know it all  Teacher believes that the more they learn, the less they know, and the more they want to learn from the subject
Establishes Dominant/Subservient relationship with Student Establishes an equal relationship with Student
One-way street of Dialogue that says, “Learn from me” Two-way street of Dialogue that says, “I might learn from the Student today”
Learn the Hard Way Let’s have Fun!
“Do what I say, not what I do” “I must walk my talk”
Sets Impossible standards for the Student In touch with Reality and sets Realistic Goals with baby steps for the Student
Teacher must convince the Student that as a Teacher, he/she has arrived at perfectionism Teacher stays open and vulnerable to show their imperfections
“Perfectionism Destination” – emulate me “Processing never ends” – continue to grow
Not natural and easy in delivery of message Natural and easy in delivery of message

Many of us have grown up under PISCEAN Age teachers. So while our hearts are moved to teach like an AQUARIAN teacher, we may find our habits influenced by the former.

Open Your Heart and Your Mind

Brook was clear that as an AQUARIAN teacher, you are holding the student’s hand for a temporary time – the Shaman walking beside the student – while you are modeling a new way of Being for the student. As the teacher, you are constantly learning as well. By being honest and authentic about your own journey, you transmit more honor and respect to the student about their own path choices.

I sincerely hope the chart assists you in reviewing where you excel and where you can open and deepen your teaching work. And I thank you, each of you who are choosing to be grounded, strong, and work in the Divine Light – thank you for choosing THIS TIME to teach and bring about compassion, understanding, and healing.

Many blessings to Brook Jasmyn, who has transitioned from this planet, for passing on this important message to Light Healers and Teachers.

Rate Your Life Satisfaction to Create Better Life Choices

There are many ways that we measure our satisfaction or contentment with our life experiences. I remember a friend named Michael who continually rated his top experiences of FUN in a rating system. He would put memories of events in order from 1 through 10, with “1” being the highest rating. If a night out with friends rated a “3,” you can be sure he had a really great time!

Michael could tell you at any moment the list of events and the rating. As a new and fantastic experience showed up, he would bump a lesser experience out of the top 10 list.

What I loved about this: He could access his ‘satisfaction’ moments within seconds!

This quick access system was a way that Michael could change a ‘bummed out’ moment to a smile – because he memorized and recounted these times often in his thoughts.

What gives you a smile? Are you enjoying the journey of your life?

We may feel happier overall in some areas of life than others – for example, I might be feeling fulfilled in my friendships, but generally out of harmony with my physical environment (where I live). If I know the degree of discontent, I can make specific choices to see improvements in that area.

My Top 10 List would include outdoor dinners with friends!
My Top 10 List would include outdoor dinners with friends!

Evaluate your level of contentment with the Life Satisfaction Wheel

This wonderful tool is a circle that is sectioned off like pieces of a pie, and you can label each section with an area of your life; Spiritual Alignment, Health & Body Image, Recreation & Rest, Romance & Marriage, and more.

Download WHEEL here.

Using the Life Satisfaction Wheel:

  • Use the suggested labels at the bottom of the page and place them on sections around the outside of the wheel.
  • Note that the Satisfaction rating is 1 to 10, with 1 representing very low satisfaction and 10 representing a great sense of satisfaction.
  • Look at one section at a time and evaluate your feelings of fulfillment with that area of your life. Place a dot in that section on the number that best represents your feelings.
  • Once all the dots are in place around the Wheel, you can connect the dots with a continuous line around the inside of the circle. This will look a bit like a spider web, and it lets you see clearly areas that are stretching the web (high satisfaction) and areas that are contracting the web (low satisfaction).

There is something very powerful about a rating system!

When we put a number to the level of satisfaction for an area, we feel more in control of making changes going forward. It is no longer just a ‘general dissatisfaction’ feeling – it is trackable, and therefore open to change.

If I have a ‘5’ on the Life Satisfaction Wheel in the category of ‘Community Involvement,’ then I might realize that I am not doing as much in my community as I would like. Perhaps I enjoy participating in fundraiser 3-mile walks, but I have not joined a walk for over two years. Looking at the ‘5’ helps me identify that I can make some specific choices that would change that number.

Love it - Not Love it Cycle

Allow the Wheel to be what it is – Accept and do not get negative

It is unrealistic to believe that we will have full 9 or 10 level contentment with all areas of our life at the same time. That would go against the Law of Cycles.

Accept what the Wheel shows you once it is filled in. You are being honest with yourself and there is no room for beating yourself up later. You are not a “bad person” for having a low number in the ‘Friends and Family’ category. You are a dissatisfied person who is actively looking to improve your life experiences.

Life is constantly changing – so are your feelings about it

Doing a review every 6 months or so allows us to see what changes have occurred, and if we are on track for what we are choosing to manifest and accomplish in this lifetime.

My husband's favorite thing is planning our travel days!
My husband’s favorite thing is planning our travel days – His satisfaction is a 10!

Enjoy this tool – it is designed to help you take conscious steps toward a more satisfying experience on this planet!

Alchemy Tips: Peppermint, Eucalyptus, and Oregano Oils

Winter winds, chapped lips, sore throats and chest cough – not my favorite part of this season! Holistically, let’s find ways to keep ourselves strong.

Here are my three favorite essential oils:

  • Peppermint Oil – cleans bacteria from the air; clears the mind
  • Eucalyptus Oil – great for respiratory ailments; helps a sore throat
  • Oregano Oil – clears chronic issues; asthma, bronchitis and more

These three ‘miracle’ workers help with a number of issues, including aiding digestion and clearing skin rashes. But my focus is on the respiratory tract.

Breathing air is necessary for life – and when it is inhibited, we have an internal fear switch that can go on that basically says, “I am not well – I am not surviving.” Even if you are not aware of this thought consciously – your instinctual side is – and this can begin to color how you see your day, your week, your world.

To remove the struggle, let’s clean up the air, and help our lungs!

First – I want to be clear that I am recommending Peppermint oil and Oregano oil be used in diffusers to put the scent into the air. Eucalyptus oil can be used on the body, rubbed into the chest as long as you add another diluting-type oil. Also, if you are pregnant, read about these oils carefully, as they may not be recommended during pregnancy.

Second – I will refer to diluting oil, and that means using more of this oil and only a couple of drops of the essential oil. Diluting oils can be Jojoba oil, Almond Oil, Sesame Oil, Coconut oil (liquid) and even Olive oil. Vitamin E oil may be too thick to spread.

Third – I mention diffusers. If you don’t know what diffusers are, you can check out this information on different types of diffusers, and also visit your local organic products store, and you will find lots of options as well.

PEPPERMINT:  I have used peppermint oil for years. I love this oil! As a fan of the old fashioned water with tea candle below-type of diffuser, this is my oil of choice daily in my home. It assists in cleaning the air as it has anti-fungal properties, so my husband’s allergies are lessened. This oil also stimulates and refreshes the brain, so it is great to put into the air when you are mentally fatigued. MORE ON PEPPERMINT

I do NOT put peppermint on my body, as it is very strong and can burn. Even with a diluting oil, I feel this is too strong for me. If you see it recommended that way and want to try it on your chest, temples, etc., please have plenty of diluting oil handy.

EUCALYPTUS:  Every time I have a sore throat and chest cough, I turn to eucalyptus essential oil. With this oil, I always use a diluting oil and my favorite is Jojoba oil. It is relatively inexpensive and spreads very well. Also, jojoba oil regenerates the skin tissue. MORE ON EUCALYPTUS

As soon as I put this on my throat (outside, not inside!), I feel immediate relief. Remember, essential oils penetrate the skin in 30 seconds, so it is on its way to providing relief to your internal organs. Eucalyptus is anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory in properties. ALWAYS wash your hands completely with soap & water, as you do not want to rub your eyes later and accidentally put oil in your eye area. SAFETY GUIDELINES

OREGANO:  As a new fan of Oregano oil, I am hooked! This essential oil is amazing, and the results are quick for chronic issues (two to four weeks). Oregano oil is anti-fungal and anti-bacterial in properties. I have been dealing with bronchitis on and off for two years and this was recommended to me recently. I was informed that the best format for me was to inhale it. Caution alert – sniffing right from the bottle can cause burning in the nose!

I have been putting this in my diffuser in my home office daily and I use about 10 drops in the small water container. It is strong, so I can smell it continuously. Since I am in my office for about 6 hours per day, this is a lot of infusion. Inside of 2 weeks I noticed immediate results. I can breathe deep and there is no tightness in the bottom of my lung area (the alveoli). I have been outside on some sunny February days to do two-mile walks, and there is no struggle with breathing. Thank You, Oregano!! MORE ON OREGANO

Again, I highly recommend you read the SAFETY GUIDELINES on using the oils before getting started.

Clean Air, Clear Lungs and we are set to BREATHE in and be joyously present every day!

Soul Journey: The Law of Incubation

Every single thing, matter and un-matter, has an incubation period – and you just need to sit your gorgeous self on it and it will tell you when it is ready.

–Melanie Johnson, KMP therapist

It is the beginning of a new year, and we excitedly vision new goals, new projects, and the birthing of new Dreams. This joy fills us with lots of STEAM; energy to forge ahead and make grand plans! And since we know that Intention and Vision are the first steps for major manifestation, this is time well-spent.

In the spirit of accountability (to ourselves) we may tell others our Dreams, Hopes and Desires. We set planning steps in process and we focus wholeheartedly on this wondrous new idea. This IS the exciting part!

Let’s fast-forward three months, and what we may find is that our burst of energy is wearing down, and we might even be at a ‘waiting place,’ as we look for confirmation that our Dream is making progress. This slowing down can fill us with impatience, frustration, and sometimes even depression.

Incubation is a Universal Law – it is part of our Life Process

The beautiful quote a the beginning of the article is by Melanie Johnson, MA, R-DMT, MCC, KMP, and she is a Kestenberg Movement Profile expert. Her daily life is all about MOVEMENT as a healing therapy that shifts our habits and attitudes. But Melanie knows that before a great and cohesive movement occurs, an incubation period is necessary (a learning and integrating period) and slowing down is part of the process.

Every mother on the planet experiences this – knowing that the incubation time during the pregnancy cannot be rushed and must be allowed to take is full course. The mother duck sits still, keeping the egg warm. Oh, how patient she is!

So, how can we prepare for this ‘incubation’ period of our Dream?

Expecting the Law of Incubation

Since ‘incubation’ – the process of allowing something to quietly grow on the inside – is a part of the life process for bringing in a new creation, it helps if we find ways to manage the emotions that come up when everything slows down.

What NOT to do:

  • Throw things against the wall
  • Eat everything in sight
  • Push every angle even more aggressively
  • Cry, cry and cry some more
  • Bark at the supportive people in your life

I know this list might get a chuckle, but you probably recognize some familiar behavior there. What you might also realize is that, in looking back, it made no difference to the actual progress of the Dream.

How to recognize if your Dream is in a true period of Incubation

  • You have done all the physical action required to move it forward (at this level)
  • You are waiting for others involved to comprehend and state commitment level
  • Every door is closing right now and you have no new solutions
  • You are mentally exhausted with it right now
  • A new direction is needed, and nothing is showing up (yet)

The incubation period can be applied to any field of work, from engineering to fine art to writing to entrepreneurship, and more. All birthing processes need some time to grow, especially if you have already set foundations in motion.

What TO do:

  • Stop and reflect: is this a time of ‘incubation?’
  • Breathe – take three deep breaths
  • Commit to set it aside for 48 hours
  • Get out in Nature – seriously!
  • Ask for the new solutions or direction to come to you in your nighttime dreams
  • WAIT until you get the nudge that it is ready to hatch!

We need to take a step back, so the first step is reflection on the whole process. Then take some deep breaths – this will relax your body and clear your mind. Truly commit to taking some time away from the Dream (project, issue) and I recommend at least 48 hours. Try to get outside, as nature has a vibration frequency designed to calm our electrical inner wiring so we gain some peace. Ask for help from your Inner Self. You can do this in conversations with your Higher Realm Guides, and use the Dream Incubation! (my favorite)

And finally, wait until it tells you it is ready! There is that Eureka moment that comes with the first crack of the eggshell, and your whole being knows what to do and that the Dream is at the next stage.

The Stirring Inside the Egg

Sometimes the movement will be ignited by an outside source, but most often, as in nature, the MOVEMENT comes from inside the Egg. The stirring of your heart and mind will tell you what direction to take, or when it is ready to begin the next phase of growth.

So when our next INCUBATION period shows up, let’s embrace it, sit our gorgeous selves down, and know that we are right where we need to be!
